What’s up everybody!? Just got home in Pittsburgh from DJing at Indigo Nightclub in State College, Pa (Penn State)…I must say, every time I’m there it’s always crazy!! Penn State knows how to party!!! This was my 3RD VISIT TO INDIGO IN OVER A PERIOD OF 3 YEARS… My good friend Mike Podboreski of mPod Creative (http://www.mpodcreative.com/) joined me for the weekend…Setting off for Penn State around 1pm on Saturday afternoon. The trip consisted of mixtapes, Sheetz, rocksalt, and more Sheetz. We arrived in Penn State around 330pm linking up with Pete Butta (http://www.twitter.com/petebutta) & the NEWYORKGIANT (http://www.twitter.com/thenewyorkgiant), grabbing some food at Kelly’s (http://www.kellys-steak.com).

From there we traveled over to Pete’s for a cut session…Good times!!! Wish I had video from this!! A short time later, myself and Mike left to head over to Indigo Nightclub. Indigo is Penn State’s hot spot for college nightlife, having the largest dance floor State College has to offer! With state of the art lighting and sound, excellent staff/management…To cut it short, your destination for nightlife at PSU!!

The night kicked off at 9pm with already a line of college students waiting to get in to party…DJ Manik Mike – Indigo resident (http://www.twitter.com/djmanikmike) kicked off the night while the club began to fill up. By 1030pm, the club was just about at capacity with a line to get into the spot. I started my set at about 1130pm and played till closing time…Great crowd, amazing energy, and no BS…Just straight party rocking. I said it before…PENN STATE KNOWS HOW TO PARTY!! My car ride home consisted of more mixtapes, SHEETZ, rocksalt, road hazards, SHEETZ, traffic, and a flat tire. Welcome back home J-Spin!!! Gearing up for next week’s events!!! Check the calendar for details!!!

SATURDAY 1/29/11, I will be making my return to Indigo Nightclub at Penn State! This will be my third time playing at this venue…Every time is a blast and an amazing crowd! Shouts to DJ Kid AV, Manik Mike, and the staff for having me come out to rock!! See you SATURDAY!! WE ARE PENN STATE!!!

“Steelers Championship Party Weekend at Stage AE presented by Coors Light

Steelers fans will be treated to a full weekend of Steelers-themed events on the North Shore this weekend, culminating with Sunday evening?s AFC Championship Game at Heinz Field when the Steelers host the New York Jets at 6:30 p.m.

Doors open Friday at 5 p.m. at Stage AE. Fans will be treated to a live broadcast by WDVE (102.5 FM) and Sean McDowell until 7 p.m. Then live music by Gene The Werewolf and Tres Lads set the stage for feature act, The Clarks, who will be taking the stage at 10 p.m. Tickets for Friday night’s party are on sale through Ticketmaster for $20.

Activities continue at Stage AE Saturday with a free Championship warm-up party. Doors open at 5 p.m. with a special playoff broadcast by the 96.1 Kiss Morning Freak Show with Mikey and Big Bob. The show airs live from 5-7 p.m. alongside Steelers alumni who will sign autographs and talk Steelers football. Pittsburgh native DJ J-Spin will play fan favorites and Steelers songs throughout the night.

Also on Saturday at Stage AE, KDKA-TV will air a live special Championship Preview Show from 7-8 p.m., featuring Bob Pompeani, Edmund Nelson, and former Steelers Punter Josh Miller. Coors Light Steelers Saturday Night on Pittsburgh’s CW with Bob Pompeani, Edmund Nelson, and Ellis Cannon will also be live at Stage AE from 9-10 p.m.

Wrapping up Saturday night at 10 p.m. will be live comedy from the WDVE Morning Show?s Jim Krenn and Pittsburgh native Billy Gardell from the No. 1 new CBS comedy series ‘Mike and Molly’

Sunday’s pregame festivities kick off at 5 p.m. with the Official Steelers Tailgate party at Stage AE featuring DJ Nugget.”

Coming into the new year, I thought it was time to revamp the site. I noticed that I rarely have updated throughout the year considering I’m always working. In 2011, I will strive to keep this site up to date! There are many updates in the works! My nearly 3 year Saturday residency has come to an end at Town Tavern, but only to be a short end. Town Tavern closed its doors to make way for a new venue… DISTRICT THREE.
DISTRICT THREEwill reopen with many renovations and updates throughout the entire club. With new flooring from top to bottom, completely re-done upper level with new dancefloor, updated sound and lighting. With many more! This will be a complete overhaul of the existing venue…Stay tuned for updates on that!

In the meantime, with my Saturday availability opening up…I will be traveling out of town to keep the DJ mojo going. With gigs lined up in Penn State, Philadelphia, Slippery Rock, and in the city of Pittsburgh as well.
